100 Things About Me
...or what makes me “ME"1. I decided to jump on the bandwagon and make this list as a way to tell a little about myself.
2. How much of me do I want to reveal?
3. I’m very family oriented and love them dearly.
4. My favorite people in the whole world are my husband and daughter.
5. My daughter is in college and is planning on moving out next fall to go to a new (and farther away which she thinks will be great) school.
6. This will just leave me and the husband home, alone, for the first time in 20 years.
7. We are very excited about this although sad to see the kid want to move away.
8. My husband is actually a hermit and would live in a cave with no one else around, except me, for the rest of his life and be perfectly content.
9. I, although more of a people person than him, would gladly live with him in that cave.
10. Although I made the statement above I really don’t want to live as a hermit, but would because I love my husband.
11. I have very few real life friends.
12. This is my choice as I’ve become a not very trusting person.
13. This is due to my employment a few years ago.
14. I would love to have just enough money to not have to work.
15. This will never happen.
16. I love my family and my husband’s family.
17. I have a very large side of the family although I only have one sister.
18. My husband has a very small side of the family although he has(d) 2 brothers.
19. My husband doesn’t always like all of my family.
20. This comes down to his wanting to be a hermit.
21. My husband also hates large crowds.
22. I hate large crowds when with my husband.
23. I love to travel.
24. I wish I had more money to travel.
25. I wish when I traveled I could just meet my husband at the location if it involves getting there by airplane.
26. I didn’t want to be a mother.
27. I wanted to only be a terrific aunt.
28. God changed my mind.
29. I love being a mother.
30. My daughter is a fantastic person.
31. She has a lot to learn about life still.
32. Getting her born was the most difficult thing of my life as I came close to dying.
33. I had to have a hysterectomy 2 years after she was born.
34. I believe she is destined for great things as I hadn’t planned on having a baby and then could have no more.
35. I haven’t told her this as I don’t want her to feel pressure.
36. My daughter is much smarter than me or my husband.
37. My daughter is much prettier than me or my husband.
38. We can’t figure out how that happened although my husband has questioned the mailman as our daughter doesn’t resemble him very much (he thinks, but she does).
39. Our daughter is EXACTLY like her father in temperament only BIGGER. 40. This puts me in the middle most frequently.
41. I do not like being in the middle most frequently.
42. That my daughter is very outspoken is my fault entirely.
43. I’ve taught her to stand up for herself, but she hasn’t quite yet learned tact skillfully.
44. This could be because she is just 19.
45. I still have hopes she will learn tact.
46. I am the baby of my family.
47. My husband is the baby of his family.
48. This took adjusting.
49. I want everyone to just get along and be nice to each other.
50. More and more I try to just blend into the background and not really get noticed.
51. Our families depend on me and ask me for help a lot.
52. I always give this help.
53. I miss my grandmother deeply. She died a year ago.
54. I don’t like talking on the phone.
55. I don’t go to see my mother and father very often.
56. This displeases my father, so says my mother.
57. I think it displeases her too, but she just won’t say so.
58. I don’t go because my job requires a lot of weekend work so the other weekends I like to just be home with my family (the hermit thing).
59. I need to work on this.
60. I have no hobbies.
61. I can’t do crafts.
62. I can’t decorate.
63. I do like to read and am trying to get back into that habit.
64. I spent the last 19 years of my life devoted to my daughter.
65. I think I lost some of myself by doing that.
66. I still don’t regret it because my daughter has turned out to be a lovely person which is difficult with kids these days.
67. I’m not trying to find the parts of me that I lost.
68. My husband loves me.
69. Some of the passion in my life has been hidden these last few years. 70. I’m working on that.
71. My husband appreciates that I’m working on that.
72. I’m too fat.
73. I’m going to a gym.
74. I’ve lost 10 pounds, but have many left to go.
75. I like going to the gym.
76. I’m normally a very healthy person.
77. I take pride in the fact I don’t get sick very often.
78. I believe in KARMA.
79. I totally believe in KARMA.
80. I want to be a “glass is half full” person.
81. I try to project that I’m a “glass is half full” person to the world.
82. I believe I fool most people into believing I’m a “glass is half full” person.
83. I’m really a “glass is half empty” person.
84. Don’t tell anyone!
85. I would love to be rich.
86. I would love to have a housekeeper.
87. These two things will probably never happen.
88. Although I would love these two things I’m still content with my life.
89. This doesn’t make me a “glass is half full” person.
90. I hate the fact that at my age my life is half over.
91. I get “down” when I think that I may only live another 30 or 40 years.
92. The first 40 went way too fast.
93. I wish I had realized at 20 how fast life was really going.
94. I regret that I married so young
95. I don’t regret who I married….he is a wonderful person.
96. I don’t believe in soul mates.
97. I believe you have to continually work on your relationship to stay “in love”.
98. I believe in ‘until death do you part”.
99. I believe in God.
100. I believe there are angels watching over me.
